... Please, use this newsgroup for recreational boats. By what I've seen this morning it's more about Bush, world economy, bigots, jobs overseas, political humor, etc. rather than boats. It's getting completely out of hand. Please fellows, there must other newsgroups that cover these subjects and if not, form your own. It would help the rest of us. -- Ernie Everyone dies, but not everyone lives. A. Sachs i nice cheery kinda thought, but it will never happen. you can try and filter / ignore them, but it is like fighting spam. some things in life are quite unpleasant, but they must be done. |

I recall when we had some quite pleasant boating conversations here with a variety of interesting people. Many of the latter were simply driven off of here by posters determined to grind exceeding fine (and in finality, useless) points, or by obnoxious and accusatory know-it-alls who in reality knew nothing, like Skipper and Karen Smith. The politics filled the vacuum created by the departure of fun boating conversation. If you think otherwise, just read a few of Smith's attack dog posts on boating subjects. Who the hell wants to get down in a sea of her feces? -- Email sent to is never read. |

Geeze, I wish I had saved all those posts. They were classic comedy. Eisboch |
