I was going to be doing that out at the river...but the weather has been
crappy. Got a load of used railroad ties delivered to the site to help
build a better backdrop and side drop, partner has a friend from whom he
can borrow a small dozer to remove some remaining tree stump, do a bit
of grading, et cetera. I cut a bunch of pressure treated lumber down to
match a plan I downloaded, but the finished product will be so heavy I
want to assemble it on site.

I think it's more that the man of the house doesn't want a mini-van, so he buys an SUV for his wife to haul the kids around in.

The main difference is the height. If you are tall the roof line of a
minivan may be a little low for your taste. That same guy would have
no problem stuffing himself in a Lambo though if he could afford it
;-)

My wife likes trucks because she sits up high but when Lincoln stopped
making the F-150 upgrade she went for the MKX.
In real life if you buy a (an?) F-150 with the top line trim it is a
Lincoln and about $70k.

This is just for BB guns so I think the 10 foot berm behind my house
will stop the little buggers (or just about anything else you could
shoot at it.)
I have the moving ducks going now and I will be working on the
rotating targets today. Everything resets on every revolution. There
are lots of check sorter parts going in there ;-)

I was just pointing out that virtually every other language has rules.
In English it is almost as if we were just making them up on the fly.
Maybe that is just a reflection of the fact that Scotland is where the
Romans said "OK that's far enough" and they built a wall.
The rules of their very precise language stopped on that island too.

English is not an easy language to learn, but there are worse for
different reasons. Russian, for example...totally different alphabet,
and Hebrew must be a bear, too, for the same reason. When I took Russian
in high school, it took most of us in that class half a semester before
we could get familiar enough with the cyrillic alphabet to get anywhere
with any of it. I suppose it would be the same with the other Slavic
languages and modern Greek, too.
