TR lived a fairly honorable life as far as I know. Donald, not so
much. What you see is what you get.

I am not sure any of those weasels has lived what I would call an
honorable life.
I bet the Trump we see in the general (if he gets there) will not be
the guy we see now,
That is the biggest problem we have with this primary process.
The primary candidates need to appeal to their party's most far pout
fringe to win the primary, then they need to run to the center to be
elected. In the last half dozen presidential elections I have said,
they passed each other in the middle. That was really true with
Clinton and Dole. Clinton was already pretty far right by 96 and Dole
was to the left of him by the election.

Yesterday on the big morning TV news shows, Trump refused to walk away
from the support he is receiving from David Duke and the right-wing hate
groups and also defended his use of a tweeted quote from the fascist,
Mussolini.

You are really spinning that or you did not actually see the show.
His answer about Duke was he did not know Duke had endorsed him and he
repudiated it.
As for the quote, he said he did not know it was Mussolini but he
liked the line
I bet Mussolini did not write "“It is better to live one day as a lion
than 100 years as a sheep.", he just heard it somewhere himself.
My bet is the Romans heard it from someone in North Africa before the
birth of Jesus and it has been in the Italian culture for eons.

There are plenty of reasons to dislike Trump but this is bull****.

He has said dozens of really horrific things over the past six
months,
and he continues to say them. All these statements are on
videotape.
They define Trump and he will not be allowed to walk away from
them if
he gets the nomination. He is without question as sleazy as the GOP
base
that loves him. He will be forced to be the guy he is now.

The attempt to show Trump in a favorable light in the
comparison to
TR is odious.

Oh, by the way, Trump claiming he doesn't know who David Duke
is...is
bull****:

Trump knew exactly who and what David Duke was back in 2000:

"The Reform Party now includes a Klansman, Mr. Duke, a neo-Nazi, Mr.
Buchanan, and a communist, Ms. Fulani," the New York Times quoted
Trump
saying in a statement. "This is not company I wish to keep."

Obviously and odiously, Trump is going for the base of rec.boats.

And Hillary's newly adopted pandering is going for what?

Hillary isn't pandering to racists like your new hero, Trump, is.

Who said Trump is my hero?

You might be very surprised as to who I would vote for this year,
assuming I even bother to vote.

Richard, Harry just cant figure it out.

Harry is just being Harry. It tickles me though to see him react when
anything even slightly positive is said about a candidate other than his
favorite. That's really why I post what I post. He's very predictable.
Strange though, for a guy who boasts so much of his superior
education and intellect that he thinks in such a binary fashion.

Then again, I know he doesn't. He does what he does just to maintain
his reputation.

That's just simple-minded conservative bull****. While Hillary is my
preference because she can win the general, I have no problems with
Bernie or Martin. The three leading Republicans, on the other hand,
consist of a loud-mouthed asshole, a crazy right wing extremist asshole,
and an empty suit.

To quote one of my favorites but not your's:

"There you go again"

:-)

As for who I'll vote for (assuming I even vote) ... I'll quote your
favorite but not mine:

"What, at this point, difference does it make?"

*If* I even bother to vote, I'll probably feel the Berne. Of all the
candidates, he's the most honest and even though I don't agree with a
lot of his ideas, I also know he'll never move into the White House.

Hillary panders to the same Wall Street banksters you profess to hate
and she won't even tell us what she was telling them in those 6 figure
paid speeches.
That isn't from the republicans. Bernie is saying it.

So you have a communist and a congenital liar who has demonstrated
many times that she is pimping for the people you profess to hate.

I understand she says she is a democrat so you will vote for her but,
like her hubby, she will be the best big business candidate the
banksters could ever hope for.
Even her immigration stance is a boon to the corporations who want to
exploit the cheap source of labor.
The only excuse you could make is to say the immigrants are taking
jobs Americans refuse to do but that has you defending Trump's
statements to that effect.
You say you hate Walmart but Hillary was on the board when the company
abandoned the original ideals of Sam sr and became the china outlet
store that exploits it's workers and destroys mom and pop.

As long as she is pushing Bill out on front of he she will have to own
his policies which were anti welfare, anti gay, pro wall street and
pro deregulation. He also bombed the **** out of a lot of innocent
brown people. She also has a pretty bad voting record herself if you
want to be a democrat. (immigration, the war, the bailout, ethanol
etc)

Facts will never get in the way of your partisan party politics so you
just don't care who you are really voting for. As long as it says (D)
next to the name you will pull the rooster.

I may never vote for a winner but I will still have a clean conscience
about who I voted for.

Actually, I think your IQ is probably a little less than Al Gore's. And

Change 'right' to 'left', and you've pretty much described what you see in the mirror
when you brush your teeth, eh Krause? I guess you could've inserted the word 'lying'
somewhere in there.
