Pretty much how it's supposed to work here.

I tend to agree with Harry that we may have tipped the other way too
far. When Democrats have to go to prayer breakfasts to get elected, we
may be letting the church run our life a tad too much and they have
destroyed the GOP.
On the other hand the Harry's of the world are pressing too hard not
to ever see any sign of the religions too.

When there is enough politically correct pressure that Starbucks can't
put a santa clause on a coffee cup, we have lost our way

I have no objections to reasonable religious practices "practiced" in
churches, homes, religious schools, et cetera, or even the occasional
"let us pray" nonsense that creeps into the non-church environment. My
objection to religion is when its proponents push it into the public
sector, when it attempts to pass laws that restrict those who believe
differently, when it insinuates itself into public schools, et cetera.

We could easily extend that complaint to a lot of left wing practices
like global warming hysteria.

Right, because it interferes with your Corporations Uber Alles beliefs.

Nonsense.

You complain every time you see even the most casual references to
religion in public places. A christmas tree in the park seems to push
you over the edge and if, OMG they happen to mention Jesus somehow you
go ballistic. Strangely a reference to the festival of lights, not so
much.

Not at all. I have no objection to the national or even local christmas
trees on display on public property, and have said so. The little town
down the road puts up christmas lights across the streets, and I enjoy
seeing them. Haven't seen many public chanukah displays.

As for that jewish fella, jesus, hell, that isn't even his name, if
there was such a person.

Those would be the practices the Muslims learned from Christians, right,
Johnnycakes? Because, as we all know, Christians engaged in these
practices before there was a Muslim religion and after the Muslim

one that goes "Convert or die"?

So the killing, raping, beheading, etc. being practiced by Muslims now is OK, because
centuries ago Christians were doing it.

Harry only looks back when it is convenient to his point. He doesn't
want to talk about all of those New England sailors who were loading
black people on ships and bringing then to the new world for money,
abusing them below deck and throwing the dead or uncooperative ones
over the side. He doesn't even want to talk about the brand of
apartheid that is going on in the West bank

Are you sure you are a writer, Krause?

I wonder why Donnie doesn't jump in to help you out? You sure could use
some assistance with your writing.

Donnie! Help!

Never heard or read about them, eh?
Figures.

Figures what? Of course I've 'read' and 'heard' but you said 'remember'
You don't 'remember' either unless you're 700 years old and rode into the Byzantine empire with the Francs.

Fortunately for him, he is not running for anything so the focus is on
Hillary's plate right now. Bernie is not going to let us forget he was
always against the war, not just after it imploded on us.

Yabut, Harry's "Scoodge-ness" usually abates for a while as we enter
into the holiday season. He'll be back in normal form in January. :-)

Actually, he spoke about building up coalitions and he also mentioned

This is simply trying to use early 20th century logic and mid 20th
century institutions to fight a 21st century problem. NATO was
designed to combat a ground invasion from the Soviets and has very
little to do with fighting a "war" that has no "front". Whackamole is
the best description and bombing ISIS to stop international terrorism
is about as effective as bombing Nigeria to stop internet fraud,

The only things he could prove are that he neglects to pay his taxes and
other financial obligations. Those are a matter of public record. He
can't even prove that he's married to the lovely Ms Grear, or that he
has any financial interest in her home. Harry is a leech, liar, and
layabout. Why do you bother to engage him?

Well, uncovering lies is kinda fun, you know.
