Absolutely right. I've met some well intentioned liberals who were
reasonable people and could discuss issues on their merits.

And I'll bet some of your best friends are blacks and Jews. What a
condescending asshole you are.

"I've met some well intentioned liberals..."

How generous of you.

Condescending asshole.

What's so condescending about Wayne's comment? I think many liberals
(including the current President) are "well intentioned". They often
are not realistic however.

And the beat goes on.

Too many of today's conservative politicians are racists or
corporationists or both, and are intent on destroying this country, and
some of them on the national level transcend naive. Ben Carson, a new
hero of the right, comes to mind. Great achievements in his chosen
career, a real dunce otherwise, but he's a great hero to conservative
and old white men, except they'd never vote for him because
he's...black.

Do you realize that you sound like a liberal version of our Connecticut
friend? Do you share tin hats?

Do you realize you sound like a cowardly version of our Maryland
friend... Do you share a brain? Seriously dick, get a life...

I don't find many though who have the information necessary to discuss
those issues because they refuse to listen to anybody who is not lock
step with "liberals"... I find it disturbing that most of them I see,
are fine to come only armed with one side of the story.. I know people
in their 50's that still quote Salon.com, or MediaMatters even though
their "mission statement" is clear..

or people right here who only get their info from MSNBC or Jon
Stewart... but hey, the elites tend to have group think anyway...

You and Harry share a common mindset ... consumed by conspiracy theories
.... you from the right and him from the left.

I have a life, thanks.

I like the fact that we are not that congested, I can boat 12 months a

Titty'sville traffic and NOTHING like it up north

South west Florida has arguably some of thr best boating opportunities
in the country. That's why we moved there. The only place that I
really like better is the Maine coast and that's a two month season at
best.

Every few years I go back up to Maryland and stay just long enough to
remember why I left.
Harry talks about congestion here but it is nothing like the Wilson
bridge on a good day and if there is an accident or a dusting of snow
the whole beltway becomes a parking lot.
Imagine I-4 in front of Disney world on free mouse ear days then think
"worse".
It is the reason I worked 3 shift for 11 years.

I don't spend much time on the Wilson Bridge, as I have little reason,
other than occasional dentist visits, to head into Virginia on weekdays.
Not on the Beltway much, either. There's no reason to be on it for my
trips to D.C. As I stated, Florida has nice beaches and good fishing.
