I like the fact that we are not that congested, I can boat 12 months a
year and I actually have an interesting place to go, 20,000 acres of
unmolested mangrove preserve. You don't have much like that on the
east coast, maybe Merritt Island if you don't mind the Cocoa,
Titty'sville traffic and NOTHING like it up north

South west Florida has arguably some of thr best boating opportunities
in the country. That's why we moved there. The only place that I
really like better is the Maine coast and that's a two month season at
best.

Every few years I go back up to Maryland and stay just long enough to
remember why I left.
Harry talks about congestion here but it is nothing like the Wilson
bridge on a good day and if there is an accident or a dusting of snow
the whole beltway becomes a parking lot.
Imagine I-4 in front of Disney world on free mouse ear days then think
"worse".
It is the reason I worked 3 shift for 11 years.

I don't spend much time on the Wilson Bridge, as I have little reason,
other than occasional dentist visits, to head into Virginia on weekdays.
Not on the Beltway much, either. There's no reason to be on it for my
trips to D.C. As I stated, Florida has nice beaches and good fishing.
