They wouldn't go there, they'd be afraid of disease from the garbage.- Hide quoted text - - Show quoted text - At least I pay my medical bills........ at least I would if I ever got one. You pay. Nova Scotians are taxed like herd sheep. Tell people what you would pay for a litre of Jim Beam? (26oz bottle) Or gasoline. Or utility bills (total). Or income tax rate for the province? Provincial taxes are like state taxes. 8.79% on the first $29,590 of taxable income, + 14.95% on the next $29,590, + 16.67% on the next $33,820 + 17.5% on the next $57,000 21% on the amount over $150,000 Add HST of 15% on everything. Buy a $30,000 auto, cut the province a $4500 check. You pay, it isn't free. Even cheese is higher, $12.99 in NS, $4.65 on the US side. Hell, they tax you 18% excise + 15% HST compounded for winter jackets. When I lived in the USA, I paid our own health care. I saved $20K in taxes to fork $5K a year for the to us. Even if I used the service every year to eat up the delectable of $1000 at the time, I was still a lot further ahead. When I bought a car, no HST. Booze was cheap. Going to fairs, entertainment, all cheaper. Milwaukee Wisconsin Summerfest for two for less than $50 and we staggered home. Saw leading banks like Foreigner, Village People and others.... In Canada I couldn't get a single seat for that. Fact is you have been very well brainwashed. -- All successful people have one thing in common, if even for a moment they think rationally. |

But that work has paid off and we're lucky to have multinational brands rely on our software to help run their mission India will buy your company within 12 months for a nickle on the dollar. Unless that allegation is delusional also. India doesn't have the creative chops that exist in the US. If you've done any business with them and had a brain, you'd know that's true. They're automatons, cranked out at a high rate, trained to do as their masters desire. Why is it that you don't know that? My business is growing, not just in the US but internationally. If an Indian firm decides they want to buy my company, they'll be paying a premium. |

It'll take decades for the US to fade, which it will indeed do if we continue to **** money on bombs and bullets. |

Unless that allegation is delusional also. this from the same guy who said the US economy is so weak that everyone is rushing to buy our debt or whatever he believes; he hasnt made a coherent argument yet Buyout firms don't buy debt, they buy assets. Debt is liquidated. That's the advantage of buying bankrupt companies. SUCESFUL companies left the U.S. long ago unless the cost of freight offsets the many other advantages such as costs, your predatory government, and your relentlessly begging population. The tax code made buying debt ridden companies a ****ty investment years ago, but perhaps no one has kept you up to speed since your defection. |
