You and many of the simpleton media. He didn't flip flop, he clarified his
point of view.

He said that he would've voted for the resolution in order to give Bush the
leverage to negotiate. That's a big difference from "voting for the war" as
it was characterized in the media.

He got a quick lesson in chosing his words carefully. Hopefully, he
understands and learns from this experience.

I wish Bush got this sort of treatment from the "liberal press."

He was promoted by the Generals who recognized his brilliance. There's no
substance to the WWIII comments. It's pure bluster since what he suggested
was never carried out. No one can predict the outcomes of things that don't
happen, unless of course, it's Republicans talking about how Al Gore
would've blown up the world by now.

Further, Clark recommended ground troops instead of bombing Kosovo from
15,000 ft. because he knew there'd be civiilian casualties. They didn't
take his advice and many civilians lost their lives.

Generals become generals because they are good at politics! Especially in
peacetime. Sure there were civilian casualties. Always are in wars and
police actions. Questions: Why did you support going in to Kosovo? Why is
that a good war, and Iraq a bad war? Political party of the President who
issued the orders?
