The Only Reason Democrats Win Elections Is Because They Lie

No, they win elections because the alternative is handing
the reins back to the republicans. Up until 2004 I was a
fence sitter, voting for the candidate I thought was worthy,
regardless of political party. In 2008 it was nothing but
democrats and it'll stay that way until I can find a
republican that doesn't have his head planted firmly up his
ass.

So you admit that you just kind of went with the prevailing wind and you
had no moral compass or grounding in reality or a set of principles that
you lived by and which guided your life. This explains quite a bit about
you.

I have been a conservative since before I could vote.

Say no more. You've just announced you've had a pole up your ass
since your teenage years. Somehow that doesn't surprise me and likely
doesn't surprise anyone else familiar with your writings.

No, it just means that I have a set of values that were developed in my
youth by learning the value of hard work and where it could get you.

I do not seek government handouts and I don't believe anyone should seek
government handouts.

And that qualifies you as conservative. Guess what? I agree with you
and I'm a liberal. I also know that I'd have had one hell of a time
getting through school without food stamps. I had the good fortune of
being subsidized to the tune of$200/mo. for tuition, books, rent and
food and worked part time. I got to eat while I was learning courtesy
of the government. Now I give them a boatload every paycheck for
their investment in my nourishment.

Why didn't you get a job and feed yourself. Where is your self respect?

I had a job you simple dweeb. I was also taking a full load of
classes. I didn't make enough to pay for all and lived a frugal life.

Their investment in me paid huge dividends.

Maybe someday you can repay the investment the government has made in
you, but I doubt it. You're one of the red state blood suckers that
costs the government via subsidies.

That's exactly what Margaret said about you.
If she wasn't so soft hearted your nasty ass would be scrapping the
gutter about now.

Really? She said that? Your friend Margaret must be as delusional as
you, dummy.

WTF? I may have had four in the past year. You must have been
attacking someone else.

Really, you must have been concentrating on another of their menu
sections. Were you consuming their chicken sandwiches or may their
fish sandwiches in 2009 or maybe their delicious salads?

According to your long usenet history, you're a self proclaimed fast
food maven, Dan.

While your attempt at stalking is disturbing, it's also full of bad
information. I never posted about Wendy's food under any name, asshole.

Got to go clean my guns...

Well, you're one of the experts when it comes to lying.

Your attitude is the exact reason I jumped off the fence. You,
like many of your conservative brethren, take a statement and
twist it out of context in order to make the other side look
bad. Where did I say, or even hint, that I "went with the
prevailing wind"? Sort of sounds like I may not have researched
the candidates I voted for, which I did, extensively.

Which way is the wind blowing this fall and which way will you be
voting? Will you be voting with the crowd or will you be voting your
principles?

I have been a conservative since before I could vote. I learned the
value of hard work and self sufficiency. In 1980 while I was a
government employee, civil service, I voted for Reagan even though he
campaigned to reduce the size of the federal workforce. Voting for the
guy who may end up firing you, that is casting a ballot based upon
principles.

So you admit that you vote right even if you don't agree with
the candidate?

Correct. I cannot see a time where I would ever vote for a Democrat.
They do not represent my beliefs nor are they a principled lot.

The funny thing is that low-brain-output types like Bert don't believe
they're benefiting from government handouts. The list of what Bert gets
from the government is almost endless.

****heads like Bert think it's all been supplied by a higher power and
it's their due and right to have roads, bridges, water, sewer, gas,
electric, elementary through high school, community and four year
colleges, clean air and water, law enforcement, the judiciary and the
penal system, a system of hospitals and trained physicians who can
care for you, and a system that's struggling to keep our food safe
from the ravages of agribusiness.

Every thing you identified I paid for from the sweat of my brow.

Sorry, Bertie brain, but everything identified is subsidized...the taxes
you pay only cover a small portion of the cost of supplying you with
what you get. The rest is paid for by other taxpayers.

Those subsidizing Bar and you and me must be the rich taxpayers. The very people you detest.

Subsidizing? I do not receive a check or credit from the government, I
pay taxes.

I don't want to be a deadbeat. Tell me how much of a check I need to write the government to pay my fair share. By fair share, I mean excluding the graft that is skimmed from our tax payments.

Take the amount that the government lets you keep and send that to the
US Treasury.

I'll save you the trouble of answering. You don't have a frikkin clue. You pompous ass.

Why are you such a hater?
