Why does Cambodia seem to be coming up in my mind?

let's see...when did cambodia attack us?

uh...never

You really are ignorant of history aren't you. We attacked Cambodia
covertly because we said they were harboring the VC, just like
Pakistan harbors OBL.

really? the cambodians flew planes into NYC?

wow. that's something NO ONE knew!!

The Taliban didn't fly any planes into New York either. They never had
a particular beef with the US until we invaded their country.
We are attacking Pakistan as we speak and Plume wants us to invade
Somalia (Al-Shabab) , Indonesia (FPI) or wherever else Taliban like
organizations spring up, even if they have no particular interests
beyond their own borders.
Now we have muslim nations starting to think they are right and we are
wrong. Do you really want to start a war with a billion people?

The whole thing unraveled after the Pentagon Papers exposed this all
and it became clear that instead of trying to wind down an unpopular
war, as promised by the new president, we were expanding it.
I expect this and subsequent "leaks" to bring the same anti-war
sentiment out this time.

now let's see....the current 'leaks' have told us nothing new at all

We will see won't we.

I am surprised you aren't jumping on this because they are mostly from
the Bush administration ... but the policy is the same now isn't it?

What's telling is how differently these leaks are being used by the
Minority Media. During the Bush Admin, leaks were exploited selfishly by
the liberal media who thought the more Americans killed in the middle
east, the better for their progressive, anti-American, political
agenda...
