You've probably heard already, but Murdoch is apparently close to
making a deal. Microsoft's Bing search engine will become the
exclusive handler of all things News Corp. Murdoch is a smart man, but
he doesn't use the internet, and this deal seems very flawed. It will
be interesting to watch. MediaNews is also planning to go along.


I'm sure Faux will "weigh" what Bing finds in a search differently than
an honest search engine.

I don't know how Bing weighs it's linking. It just seems like a dumb
deal. Google provides 30% of the hits at the Wall Street Journal alone.
Cutting that off would seem to be a big revenue hit. Like I said, it
will be interesting to watch.
