Bob,
I'm just heading out now. (SW winds 10-15 Knots, Seas 2-4 Ft)
I ride my motorcycle on the weekends - the roads are less insane than the
sailing waters in our neck of the woods.
If you want some peace, try sailing mon-fri.

Came back to see most of the people here were posting ALL weekend while we
sailed!

You ridiculous cheapskate? You've had you boat in the water
for about a month and you already have to clean the bottom?

What did you use for bottom paint? Sears Weather Beater?

Friday night we watched the fireworks at Rye Playland....lots of boats hanging
close so we actually started to sail back as they started.
Dropped everyone off at City Island, then anchored out for the weekend. Great
White shark spotted in Hamptons....made me nervous when we cleaned the bottom
of the boat.
Great sailing Sunday...finally slacked off at about 6:00 pm...

You're 100% right. It was very crowded out beyond execution rock Friday and
Saturday. We try to squeeze in a few weekday sails each week. We'll sail
tomorrow and Wednesday. Friday I'm taking my folks out, then we're anchoring
out for the night. The weather appears to be giving us a good turn.
But those great White sightings in the Hamptons....yikes!

Weather does look good, with the exception of lightning expected tonight.
Wonder how other sailors here handle the threat.

Good lord, don't get the resident puppetheads like Neal and Jeff started on the
lightening topic!

I also don't like sailing on weekends (too many PB and boobspit types), but
this year work, and the lack of Spring didn't cooperate.

While I complained about the weather, we still sailed.
Good to see Scott admit he didn't!

Hey, Scotty, are you gonna stop wearing a helmet now that Pa will rescind its
helmet law?

Where did you anchor?
