Snowe is one of the last of a breed, New England moderate Republicans.
New England used to be full of them, and was, at one time the base of the
party, no longer. The House no longer has *any* Republicans from New
England, and there are only a few Republican Senators. You are going to
have to move west. It's the only place that remains a Republican
stronghold. Hell, even the South is going Democrat.

plum, you and Harry share several traits, one of which is the

You make a tremendous number of posts and if two or three are

of course, the red states would never do something like this...for

but women are not allowed to buy the little trojan 'personal

so guns are unregulated

dildoes are banned.

red state sanity, i suppose

Red states.

You mean the ones with the worst health care and school systems?

The fix is... Pass a law that allows dildos.

Make contraception mandatory.

I'm pretty sure they also have the highest incidence of teen mothers.

I think Washington DC gets that honor. Or is it unwed mothers? Or
maybe teen-unwed mothers.

Mandatory sterilization after the first abortion would be a good idea.

Gene, do you think if you excluded the big cities from the 'red state'
populations you'd get the same results?

Do you believe the problems lie in the rural countryside? Or are you
just regurgitating some cute statistics someone developed?

Show me the same state comparisons with the big cities excluded. Then
you'll make a valid point.

Besides, it doesn't change my attitude with regard to sterilization
after the first abortion. I don't care if the parent is red or blue.

That's really sick.
Gosh, that incites you to comment. But the continuous
barrage

"Cowardly ****" comments by another liberal, Dickson,
brings
not a
peep.

THAT'S really sick.
You guys make me sick. You're such a defender of the
fetus,
but
have no
concern about the baby or the mother after the child
arrives.
You
and
your
"people" vote or support a vote against every sort of
social
program,
and
that's the real hypocrisy.

Because they don't care about life...they care about
controlling
women.
Exactly right. They claim that they're anti-abortion, as
though
there's
anyone that's pro-abortion. Complete nonsense. Abortion
rates
are
down. I
hope that someday there won't be a single one. But, they
would
rather
have women dying, because some men can't take
responsibility
for
their
behavior.

Well dearie. You are the keeper of the keys. You don't
have
to
open
the
door if you don't want to. It's your responsibility to
protect
your
own
door against intruders.

Including rape and incest?

FYI, I really don't need your condescention. It doesn't
impress
anyone.

Why yes Little Feather. I assume you wouldn't lie there
like a
wet
noodle, or would you?
Why would you even argue such silly logic... If you listened
to
NDP
(actually Harry) you would think every abortion is from rape
and
incest
and that there is absolutly no way to accomodate the 1/4 of
one
percent
which actually are... The problem with the far left is there
is
no
middle of the road, no compromise...

Yeah, like all the Republican senators who voted for the bs
compromise
healthcare bill...

Another Krause tactic. Either you are him or a very attentive
understudy. Crikey.

I concur.

"compromise health care bill", right... So where was the
compromise???

All the consessions that were made to get one Republican senator to
vote
for
it... oh, that compromise....

Such as? And Snow is not a republican, well, maybe in name...

In any case, Snowe's a Republican. I'll let you look them up... no
public
option, etc.

Uh, If I call myself a King, does that make it so? Snow is only a
republican because somebody was already running as a dem. Either way, I
knew you really couldn't cite anything that would support your claim..
Guess you really are Harry... Later...

I did, but you ignored it. Snowe is a Republican whether or not you like
it
or admit it. She's certainly not a Democrat, but neither was Spector and
he
changed parties.

If you think I'm Harry, you should plonk me immediately!

Well, start calling names and I might just do it.. Had you plonked for a
while but didn't bother when I got the new computer... BTW, Gateway
sucks... Stupidest mouse and keyboard setup I have ever used...

I don't usually call people names. But if you think it'll help... lol

I have a very nice home built system (not by me).

I used to build all of our systems but not anymore, either way, I use
strictly laptops now. I beat them up pretty good in the shop and at the
track, rainy weekends in the mud pits etc.. Blew up my Toshiba (all I
usually use) a few weeks back and went shopping. Nothing really in stock
anywhere as they are getting ready for 7 to come out so I grabbed the
cheapest one I could find and will pass it along to the wife for
occasional and emergency use as soon as my Satellite Pro comes out...

She's a Republican of a very rare sort. Reasonable.

She's willing to talk in a serious fashion. Pretty rare for a Republican,
but it's welcome. She has too much power for that single vote, however.

Just looked up "reasonable" in Websters and it didn't say anything about
"bought and paid for"...

By whom do you think she's been bought? Certainly not the insurance lobby,
if she voted for *any* semblance of reform.

Why? Because Obama said so.. Maybe Geitner, Murtha, Jefferson, Rangle,
Dodd, Kerry or one of the others who should be investigated for fraud?
The bar keeps changing. First it was Health Care Reform, then when that
didn't work, the boogie man was changed to Health Insurance Reform. Just
like Jobs created, turned to Jobs Saved (only 30,000 to date anyway).
What will it be next, Health Provider Reform, hey, there are lots of
Doctors out there to blame? Either way, wait till the "open door
negotiations" come out from behind closed doors and we will see what
earmarks Snow gets for her vote.

Either way, now that one Republican voted for it, it's now completely
and totally bipartisan, snerk...
