Sure it does harry. In another instance, when somebody has exhausted
their unemployment insurance, they are dropped from the statistics.

So the headlines read.

"Unemployment is Down!"

makes sense.

Tim! If you're going to talk to Krause, don't leave out the best part
of his post, to wit: "... but I do recall several times your good
buddy Herring saying he was a fan of Beck's. Well, there's no question
the two of them go together like tea and crumpets. It's a good thing
to associate Beck and that piece of **** Herring."

I don't recall ever saying I was a fan of Beck's, do you? Sounds like
more lies to me.

Probably why I don't respond to the guy more than once a month.

No dis-service to me. Heck, it was Harry's beautiful prose that got
trimmed.

My wife an I just canceled our Dish Network subscription. We got tired
of paying over$100.00 a month for a boob tube. I mean, they brag about
all the "channels" they offer, and if you want something specific you
have to take the :"package" just to get the programming you want,
like about 20 so called radio channels, countless home shopping
network stations, and a bunch of others you couldn't give a rats hind
end for.

Wish their was true ala carte TV. What's happening now is you're
subsidizing stuff you don't care about.
Probably all those big sports salaries is a big part of the cost.
On top of that seems there are more commercials than ever, so the
cable/dish operators are double-dipping.
Wish I could talk my wife into giving up the shows she likes,
then I would go cold turkey on cable TV. No chance, won't even try.

If you want to get your money's worth from Dish you need to have their
so called HD package and a DVR. * Their HD movie channels have some
great older movies and a fair amount of musical programming. * As sort
of a bonus we get all of the Sirius music channels and a few others.
For another $10/mo we get a second receiver which we use on the boat.

Is Dish really $100/mo. They keep trying to say they are cheaper than
cable. I am paying Comcast about $70 for expanded basic, digital
starter and HBO.

It depends on the package you get and options.

Dish ,, the best deal in television.

Why is it the best deal in television?

Because THEY SAY it is the best deal in television.....

My dish is about $42 a month, no HBO, the station selection sucks for 3
TV's. $5 extra for the 3rd TV. Looked at Comcast. $29.95 for 6 months
and then about $60 plus $13.95 for each extra TV from the get go. Direct
from Costco has a better station package, but is about $50 a month for my
desires. Will go up to about 60 a month after a year, but you can renew at
the $35.95 + extra TV's yearly.

We thought it was worth it just to get rid of Comcast, plus we were
able to add the boat for another $10/mo. Try that with Comcast!

Does Dish allow you to temporarily move your receiver to a boat or RV? I
have a $3500 automatic tracking antenna on my RV that isn't being used
because I'm too cheap to pay for Television.
