Most of the real ****s in this newsgroup are scared to death of
posting with their real names, or even their real initials, because of
the crap they throw up here.

YOu don't post under your real name, and how do you know my initials are
not RPS?

I have never understood why people feel that everyone should use their
real name, and then get upset when people post information readily
available. If your name and personal information is readily available
online, why post using your real name? If your name and personal
information is NOT readily available online, what difference does it
make if you use John Smith, Joe Blow, Reginald P. Smithers III., Don
White, DK, HK or JPS?

I'm no one's keeper but my family's.

I do recognize a low **** when I see one and you're the lowest.

Your father either beat you too hard or not enough.

JPS, you remind me of a middle school kid who just learned some
profanity and tries to make sure he includes the new words in every
sentence. I told me kids that if they used profanity too often, it
appears that one has a very limited vocabulary, and it completely
diminishes the effectiveness when one actually wants to use an expletive
to emphasize a point.

Everyone has his own style. Perhaps mine is just not your cup of tea.

Frankly, I don't care. I have nothing to gain or lose by moderating
my language in rec.boats.

Very little in rec.boats is funnier than "Reggie" castigating others for
their behavior when he is the ranking snarky asshole here.

This is a classic line from "Reggie," by the way:

"I told me kids that if they used profanity too often, it
appears that one has a very limited vocabulary, and it completely
diminishes the effectiveness when one actually wants to use an expletive
to emphasize a point."

Reggie, apparently has not read much quality 20th Century English
language literature from, say, Joyce or Lawrence or Donleavy.

What a tool.
