It would have cost money to change the water for salt during the crossing. Casady They used to not change ballast. They are required now. We have lots of immigrants. Lots good, some bad. The Mitten Crab was really bad for a couple years, but it seems the Sturgeon and other fish have developed an appetite for crab now. |
