Spent several summers as a kid on a fresh water pond (small lake) in a
wooden framed, canvas covered canoe. Did a lot of bass fishing ... paddling
around for hours trolling with a Rebel lure. (it was the only one I had).
Caught a few.

I don't have a clue how to design a boat. I have enough problems piloting
them.
