Dave, I hope you can produce proof of what you write: 1) That the message you posted actually exists. 2) That more than one message exists. 3) Somerset's Kevlar is ONLY available in triradial so it seems unlikely that your message is real. Your ISP has been alerted about this, thought not by me. You're attempting to hurt people who having nothing to do with ASA, do you realize this? Robert 35s5 NY |

Used Sails,, Best Place to Buy.. question
"Dave" wrote in message ... On Tue, 31 Oct 2006 08:56:31 -0600, "KLC Lewis" said: Seems like b.s. to me. Why not just say what this majick loft is. Bobby gets a kickback ( in the form of free sails) from this outfit on the customers he sends them. If he posted the name he wouldn't get proper "credit" for any resulting sales. Even if this is true, why should it matter? If the loft beats other's prices and matches their work, is it any skin off anyone's nose if Bobby gets freebies for hooking folks up? Much ado about nothing, to my mind. Hey, I'm just answering the guy's question. You wanna take advice from a guy who gets a kickback for steering you to this vendor, by all means do. No skin off my teeth. I would, however, recommend a little independent due diligence. No thanks. I'm quite happy with North Sails. I'm just sayin'. |

Used Sails,, Best Place to Buy.. question
Capt. Rob wrote: Okay....four folks asked for quotes. Two had blocked addresses. One I think got through after I signed in. Dan, yours doesn't work at all when I reply. Any ideas? Dan, here's a quote....somewhat vague, but you can work that out with the loft directly. 125% genoa Cruise Radial sail = 480.00 You can also get a full tri-radial or a kevlar, which is ONLY available in Triradial. Oh, and here's a real comment from a customer: Comment: "After considering all of the sailmakers above and several not listed, I purchased my new mainsail from Martin at Somerset Sails in Barker, NY. The price was very competitive and the quality the best I have seen." Max Lent (New 8/06) And the link for it: http://www.freedom21.info/sails.htm FYI, if you feel that you must have a major loft I also can get a discount from Doyle, but it will still be more expensive. They also make great sails of course. Robert 35s5 NY |

I see you have no answer for that. You can also contact the loft directly and see for yourself. I guess you'll have no answer to that either. You expect an instantaneous answer, Bobby? This isn't a conference call. It's Usenet. Generally you oughta wait at least a couple of hours or a day before complaining about not getting an answer. Actually, by the time you posted this (which must have be what, 5 minutes after my previous post) I had provided some additional information about your paymaster on one of the other groups you're spamming on the topic. You'll see the same information in another post here. I really have no problem with your recommending this outfit despite what its customers say, but please be up front about your financial interest in the deal, rather than posing as simply disinterested and magnanimous. You're asking a lot of him... -- "j" ganz @@ www.sailnow.com |

Truth is an absolute defense, Bobby. You think you've got a lawsuit, put your money where your mouth is. I have no interest in a lawsuit, but I sent the info to both lofts. BTW, as to my ISP, you don't even know who it is, so cut out the BS. That's one of the advantages of using a premium news service rather than AOL and Google. Google has it's own abuse center and you shouldn't underestimate them. You HAVE been reported. I don't know anything else about it. R. |

Nice try, Boobsie, but I've got no connection to Google. You don't get it. I have nothing to do with reporting you, finding you or anything else. If you're some kind of ghost who chases people around and writes phoney reviews, fine. Neither loft makes a Kevlar main that is not triradial, Dave. That was the first silly thing you wrote. Why not google cross cut kevlar. You won't get much. Or better yet, try to order a cross cut kevlar! Like I said, knock yourself out. I have a feeling people can see what you're trying to do. Actually, judging by the amount of people who asked for quotes since last night maybe you're helping. Just don't go asking for any kickbacks. Go find your own. Gotto go...my new lazy jack set just came via UPS! Robert 35s5 NY |

The loft threw them in with those used sails I bought. They retail for 250.00. Gotta run....there may be a new boat in my future. R. |
