Lowance is an electronic chart display? Cool. I guess if you can see
land you can match things up.

Yes, just punch in your destination and follow the course line to it. But,
you have to watch the depths which are also listed on the electronic chart
to make sure you don't run aground trying to follow a straight line to
your
destination. If the depths are dubious just zig and zag the course line
and
steer to waypoints to avoid such hazards.

It shows depth too? Well, I guess then I'd have to know what is too
shallow.

If it weren't for modern conveniences such as these then the likes of a
Bruce in Bangkok, for example, probably would have never gotten out of the
home port harbor. LOL!

I'd love to share it with you, but I'm kind of hesitant about sharing
with the whole world... Maybe email me and I'll
send you the link?

I don't blame you. I just sent you an e-mail.

I'll check later on. I've got to go exercise for a while. Very
stressful day!

Good on you, Jessica! Excellent mental outlook - rid yourself of stress by
exercising. Turn unproductive into productive. I wish more people had your
healthy attitude. Instead, most people, when they're stressed out, end up
eating or drinking. That's the worst thing they can do. I can be stressed
out about something and then go for a long, hard, bike ride and it gives me
a chance to think things through and, combined with the physical exertion
and endorphins in the brain, it puts everything in the proper perspective.

Yeah, and then I went to my friends and drank! :-) The combo worked

Besides, you should see the glasses some people have.
I often use some German 1/2 liter goblets.......
Once (in Germany ) I even used a glass boot of about
2 liters, but I only do that when very thirsty......

One views with amazement an individual that goes to such lengths to
create a totally false facade to hide his self-perceived inadequacies
behind.

Cheers,
