Good time for me to get on deck and scrub down the boat.

Our first cold front is coming thru now.
Going to get down to the low 50's tonight.

Sounds "rough", Joe. :^)

Yeah...and my P-coat is in storage.

Still it's always nice to have help when scrubbing down the boat.

I've got a problem, my new sunbrella Joe Sail Pak is sprouting some
green alge.

I scrubbed and scrubbed with Tide but little green was removed.

Any suggestion on removing mildew from Sunbrella and Nylon?

Will bleach mess up sunbrella?

Joe

Yes, bleach will seriously mess up sunbrella. First thing to try is the "enzyme"
stuff they sell in spray bottles in the pet supply aisle. You'll find it usefull
for lots of other stains and smells around the boat, too. If that doesn't do it,
the next thing would be a trigger spray bottle of the stuff they sell in the
household cleaners aisle for mildew in showers.

Read the labels, though, becasue some of those have hydrochloric acid in
them and will eat through material.
