Good time for me to get on deck and scrub down the boat.

Our first cold front is coming thru now.
Going to get down to the low 50's tonight.

Sounds "rough", Joe. :^)

Yeah...and my P-coat is in storage.

Still it's always nice to have help when scrubbing down the boat.

I've got a problem, my new sunbrella Joe Sail Pak is sprouting some
green alge.

I scrubbed and scrubbed with Tide but little green was removed.

Any suggestion on removing mildew from Sunbrella and Nylon?

Will bleach mess up sunbrella?

Joe

Do not use chlorine bleach on sunbrella. Use one of the oxygen
bleaches, like Clorox 2. Better yet, try rubbing some salt in,
moistening it enough to make a paste and let it sit for 1- minutes, then
scrub with vinegar. Rinse out with cold water. Or you can try lemon
juice but it might make a faded patch if you leave it in the sun without
rinsing it out all the way. Did you let the Tide sit on it for awhile so
it had a chance to work?
