Sadly, yes. Or at least counted the beans for something similar. I'd spend
a month each year in the Caribbean, doing "salt scrubs" (read: sailing,
swimming, scuba, and drinking on the beach) if my budget and work permitted.

Most wines these days, both US and Ozzie, are not dry enough for my tastes.
I tend to believe that winemakers are making too many wines "ready to drink"
and too sweet and fruity, in an attempt to appeal to those who really don't
appreciate great dry wines. I'll try the Hardys label, if available, but my
preference runs more toward Bordeaux these days. Damn the Frogs anyhow.

Really? I find them austere, dry, and not terribly robust. Some of the
better first estates' products are fruity, but I doubt if I'd particularly
like them if they were sweet.

I like em big and balsy.

Penfold's Grange, then. And many of the more massive Californian cabernets,
such as Far Niente, Caymus, or Heitz Cellars.

Thanks! I went to a wine tasting party a few weeks ago and one of the first
Australian wines was the "Yellow Tail" brand (along with a couple of others
I can't recall). By the time it was over, I needed a chauffer to bring me
home. :;-)

Of course not! You would have to jump through so many hoops, by the time
