Nope, never said that, though you are clearly threatened by it.

You implied it and I'm callin' you on it..... that's not being
threatened... that's calling bull**** when some nimrod gets all uppity.

The study of a
given art will often afford a deeper understanding and appreciation.
That's WHY PEOPLE STUDY, Mooron!

Oh Good Grief!..... the study of a given art!!?? So you call listening to
classical as study? ... that's like calling looking at pictures, study!
What are you learning Bob?? .....how to load the CD??

Golly! There's a shocker!

Ain't it

Be grateful you exhibit sufficient wit to warrant my replies.

I aims to please! I think I'll listen to some classical...or to be
specific...Schubert's Opus 100. That cello can bring anyone to tears.

Ah... so now I'm not intelligent or educated enough to appreciate
classical
music??

You probably appreciate it much the same way as my infant son does.
Congrats!

I imagine he appreciates his mother's breast a lot more.... come to think
of it..... :-D

Hey, everyone! I like Brams! Now Mooron will think I like classical!!!!

Was his music on Bugs Bunny? I love the "Theme to the Lone Ranger" ... now
that's good classical!

No Bob... it's sufficient that you believe it ...and the rest of us see
clear through it.

The "rest of us??"
Fight your little losing battles on your own, Mooron. You really lost this one.
No need to share to the loss!

They also show a temperment adjustment when soothing music is played.

War of 1812 finale?

Ah.. Yes..... I can picture it now.... Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture playing
on Bob's very expensive stereo system.

Bob weaving and swaying to the music with a wand in his hand..... tracing
patterns through the air.....
and for the grand finale..... each canon shot is accompanied by a bowel
movement from Lil Brody Jr. !

Nope, never said that. But listening to classical compositions is THE most
important element of it's study.
You might want to check the requirements of various college courses on
classical. The listening time is the biggest time factor.

"The life of an artist is rarely as facinating as their creations. Meeting an
adored artist is generally quite disapointing."
-Toulouse-Lautrec

Is Lautrec just being cynical or does he suggest that we focus on the art and
not the artist?
