I thought he was harassing a woman. I guess I was right. You're a woman.

Hahaha... O'Reilly?? The guy who used a vibrater on the phone while
harassing one of his employees... now there's a credible source.

Did he really? I'm sorry, Jon. I wasn't aware he'd used a vibrator while
sexually harassing you.

I've been to NYC many times, crappy place to visit and I definitely
wouldn't want to live there.

Yeah, it is kinda crappy...unless you like museums, real libraries, classical
and jazz, top medical care, great private schools, longer lifespan and a real
bagel.
Of course you need more than Scotty Potti's 12K per year to live here!

That's one in five. How does that compare with other countries?

Yeah, slack eh?
Over 80% of Oz have passports.

Compared with Oz, I guess that's pretty low. I've had one since age 2.

Any
idea why so many Aussies have passports?

Max

Probably because we have all the cheap, great destinations of the Asia
Pacific region so close.

Could be. We don't need passports for Canada or Mexico, nor the USVI or
Puerto Rico. And we don't even need 'em for the BVI--just a birth
certificate and two forms of ID. Apart from Jamaica, Bermuda, or the
Bahamas, we don't really have any nearby places that can be reached cheaply.
Europe, Asia, Africa, even South America cost quite a bit for travel,
lodging, and shopping. Perhaps that why most US citizens don't have
passports.

Jeez, didn't they both?
Bush and Kerry both spent huge amounts of time in Ohio, and
Michigan....how the hell did Bush win Michigan after all the company
closures and unemployment....did everyone move to another state?

I don't believe he did. Last I saw Michigan was blue.

So what's your point?
Both sides worked incredibly hard to get votes from "Theworking poor,
the union workers, the so-called disenfranchised poor and minorities"
and it appears that Shrub got a huge number on side.

W got his base plus some of the so-called undecideds, and a few more
minorities and working poor than previously ('00). But I don't think he got
a significant portion of union employees or non-working poor, nor do I think
he expected to do so. I also suspect he pulled some centrist democrats who
found Kerry a bit mystifying.

Fact schmacked! You have once again given you opinion and point to
"numerous media sources" as some sort of proof.
Would these be the same media sources that carried out the exit polls
that showed Kerry would win?

CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, and the CHICAGO TRIBUNE, USA TODAY, and my local
hometown newspaper.

I checked, and indeed Kerry took Michigan, as I thought.

As for job losses, I'm sure that whomever occupies the White House at the
time will be blamed, but I also doubt if Kerry could do anything about
stemming the flow of manufacturing and service jobs out of this country.
When workers in China and myriad other places can produce roughly the same
goods for $2 per hour, while the minimum wage in this country is above that,
not to mention that most manufacturing workers in the USA are paid well
above minimum wage, there is nothing anyone can do to stop the trend. I
don't have the answer, and neither did Kerry, despite his claim.

You'll need proof of US citizenship for Canada and Mexico.
