Jeez, didn't they both?
Bush and Kerry both spent huge amounts of time in Ohio, and
Michigan....how the hell did Bush win Michigan after all the company
closures and unemployment....did everyone move to another state?
I don't believe he did. Last I saw Michigan was blue.
So what's your point?
Both sides worked incredibly hard to get votes from "Theworking poor,
the union workers, the so-called disenfranchised poor and minorities"
and it appears that Shrub got a huge number on side.
W got his base plus some of the so-called undecideds, and a few more
minorities and working poor than previously ('00). But I don't think he got
a significant portion of union employees or non-working poor, nor do I think
he expected to do so. I also suspect he pulled some centrist democrats who
found Kerry a bit mystifying.
Fact schmacked! You have once again given you opinion and point to
"numerous media sources" as some sort of proof.
Would these be the same media sources that carried out the exit polls
that showed Kerry would win?
CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, and the CHICAGO TRIBUNE, USA TODAY, and my local
hometown newspaper.
