Ohhhhhhhhh what a tangled web.....
"Bobsprit" wrote in message ... I'm saying you're stern line never busted in your slip!!! You LIED!!! Enough said; Check and your move. Thom, my boat wasn't even in the water. I had her hauled so new thru-hulls could be installed. I got some new electronics after the robbery. She went back in this morning. I'll be posting pics of the new stuff when it's all set up properly. Happy now? RB |
It sure seems like your posts are one inexplicable thing after another.
Oh, now it "seems" that way. A while ago it WAS that way. Jeff lied AGAIN. Hint for Jeff: Learn a bit more about English before attempting to debate an issue. You look to be quite the fool! RB |
Two days! Two whole days? at sea?......in a 32'er.......damn bob, you
da man! Then why did you call it a "long trip?" I know it's just two daysails sewn together, but you called it "long." RB |
Do you have an EPIRB, a life raft and a well stocked ditch kit?
How much ice will you need to last two whole days? Sure I have an EPIRB. No liferaft. We don't need ice. Alien has a fridge and can make ice. RB |

Shouldn't you be getting ready for your 'big trip'? Please explain how a two day trip with only a small portion done at night qualifies as a "big trip?" RB |
GF,
Equal tension isn't really that hard. When setting the lines, move the boat to release the tension. All lines should go slack together. When restoring tension all slack should be taken up together. Now, this doesn't mean they are set properly. Wind and tide will vary the direction of the load and adjustments may have to be made to compensate. That is why lines are use, because of their ability to stretch and equilize the load Ole Thom |
