Actually it's the other way around. Hondas are littered all over the
Pacific, Yamaha's keep running .. of course you have to be able to afford
them too. They are not a low budget item. For you I think Gamefisher would
be about right.

All of these outboards are very close in price.

Well, your memory sucks. If you'd have been able to understand the
graph that Pony posted, you'd have realized I was within 10% of the
windspeed at the time I was sailing.

Another lie. You wrote that it was "25 knots sustained." Now it was 25 knots
"at the time you were sailing! The graph showed a short period of wind near 25.
You lied again!

Whats the specific gravity for diesel?

It's lighter than water. I'm too busy (lazy) to look up the actual number.

Scotty...Do you have some sort of Tankermans endorsement in the
trucking industry?

There is a tanker endorsment, at least there is in Pennsylvania. I've got
it, I'll bet Scotty does too.

There is, but I did not get it. Have no use for it.

I received my tankermans endorsement the same time I sat for my AB.
It's a good course. Lots of nasty stuff that will kill you if your

not
doing things correctly.

I got the hazmat endorsement when they first came out, a lot of gov't
bull if you ask me. I did not renew it after 2 years.

Why do you have it? Didn't you have to pay extra for it. BTW, I
haul hazardous stuff all the time without the endorsement. Works for
me.

No particular reason other than it was convenient to include the endorsement
while testing for the others (air brakes, passenger). I have driven oil
tankers in the past though (pre-CDL), and who can say what the future will
bring? I didn't bother with the hazmat either, since it has such a short
shelf life. If the day ever comes that I need it, I'll go take the test.

If you get stopped, just say you "didn't know."
As an option, try, "I don't agree with the hazmat laws."
Either way, the Statey is sure to let you go on your way. ; )
