Does your sink drain to the bilge or out? I'd get something non-porous =
and that's unaffected by heat. It goes out. The Tahiti had a sump in the bilge and wasn't a problem. Go

A galley sink on a liveaboard draining into the bilge? Is this a Mid-Western thing?

Is this a Mid-Western thing?

Strainer in the drain? Bit of screen?

Katy: It is illegal to drain the ice chest to the bilge on the Great Lakes, well, on the Canadian side anyway. I am assuming it's the same on your side. Of course this doesn't bother me too much as mine does the same. Cheers Marty |
