Hey Harry, Biden Has A Deferment Problem

"hk" wrote in message . .. What is important is McCain's health. I wonder what the longevity tables say about a 72-year-old man who has had four bouts of cancer? My guess is the odds are against him completing one term. McCain's doctor for the past 16 years, an internal medicine specialist at the Mayo Clinic in Arizona, disagrees. http://www.boston.com/news/nation/ar...t_cancer_free/ Eisboch We will see, WAFA... |

Harry can be dishonest on both ends, without concience. He can lie without remorse, again, no moral core. Whoever destroyed his spirit really did a good job. I would have to guess it was early in his childhood.. |

Remember when you used to tell Harry that about 30 times a day? |

Hey Harry, Biden Has A Deferment Problem

Remember when you used to tell Harry that about 30 times a day? The one thing we know for sure is that Harry thoroughly enjoys being at the center of the universe here. For everyone else it is sort of a uniting force, making the group what it is for better or worse. If everyone put him in the kill file and ignored his trolls for attention he would either go away or start talking to himself. That could be a good thing but I have to admit that it is kind of fun smacking him around once in a while. There's nothing like an easy target some times. |

If you were enrolled as a full time student, you got that deferment unless you requested NOT to get it. People also got defrred for all sorts of other reasons. If you were an only child, I think that may have been grounds for a deferment. Then there was the lottery system. Many people got high lottery numbers and were never called. Some rich and powerful folks could get their kids into the Air Force reserve, guaranteeing they would never be shipped to Viet Nam. Heck, some of them didn't even complete THAT alternative service, but were never prosecuted. If you are depending on that to be a "problem" for Biden, you are really out of luck in a very big way. It's a complete non-starter. Rush Limbaugh bellowing about it as he eats more pills isn't going to make that into anything. I don't think it was the II-S, even though that is what we crucify Cheney and the rest of the "chicken hawks" over. I bet they question the asthma. He must of got over it. He seems plenty long winded now. I think the neo-cons are desparate for ANYTHING. If Obama was their candidate, they would be harping on the fact that McCain broke under torture and made statements against the U.S. They are THAT desparate. I have a stepson who has a form of asthma that only presents when he does strenuous excercise. The rest of the time, you would not have any idea that there was a problem. There are also medications and inhalers that are very effective at controlling asthma and relieving the symptoms. |

Cheney is what is known as a "Chicken Hawk". The reason he gets slammed for his student deferment is that he was running around supporting the war. Someone with character and a working sense of honor would have refused the deferment, joined the service and VOLUNTEERED to go. Cheney's weak repsonse is that he "had other priorities at the time". His mouth and his actions were way out of sync. |
