Absolutely. Just keep your wallet in your back pocket.

Since I am sure several people are Googling away about this, I'll save
ya'll
some time.
This guy researched the subject extensively.

with regard to the following for distance of human powered records:

1. Bow and Arrow
2. Golf
3. Baseball
4. SlingshotThe results aBow and Arrow: 1410.87 meters = 1,542.95
Yards
Golf : 515 Yards = 515 Yards
Baseball: 734 feet = 244.67 Yards
Slingshot: 100 Yards = 100 Yards

Interesting.

I've lost the original thread - wasn't the idea that I could hit a
golf ball further than Mrs...er...Mr. Duck with a baseball bat than he
could hit a golf ball with a golf club?

Physics be damned. :)

You trying to pick a fight with that "Mrs" stuff? 8-)

Now go do your calculations.

Sorry.

Actually, I've done a few.

I still think I can do it. :)

You know how it goes - hope springs eternal.

Springs, that's it, you're going to dope up your bat with springs. I call
foul.

Just to be helpful...check out the Feb issue of 'Golf Magazine'. They test
54 golf balls. Pick the one best suited for your endeavor. Buy a dozen
Titleist Pro V1's. Then send the other 11 to me when you realize it ain't
gonna work!
