There you go with your anti-Vista stuff again.

What the hell would Microsoft know about whether Vista works or not?
Now,
Jimh and Harry are experts, so let's see what they have to say.

I have this update installed on my vista Ultimate x64 machine with no
problems.

I have had Vista x64 installed since about June and I like it.
I don't have any problems.
I use "sleep" mode and the only time I reboot is when Embarq dsl goes
down. Easier than doing the control panel/network thing 'cause I get
up to refill my water glass
Never had a BSOD.

Sssshhhhh.

Once again Herring brings me up in a thread I had nothing to do with.
Infatuation.

BTW: *My son has not voiced any complaints about the VISTA OS on his new
laptop. *Maybe he can teach Reggie and JohnH how to correctly use it. *;-)- Hide quoted text -

If that is true, how come Microsoft itself acknowledges many many
problems with Vista and offers fixes for problems? Do you think that
Microsoft itself doesn't know how to use it's own software?

Yea, but Vista is a PoC. Vendors should just tell M$ to ship XP as an
option or they will put Linux as an option.

That aught to wake Redmond up.

I'll probably be getting a new computer in the next few months, trying to
help the economy and all. It will have XP on it if possible.

Good luck. M$ is telling them not to sell XP any more, and getting harder
and more expensive to get it. I went looking for XP Pro, ended up SOL at
the lock computer shop.

What you aught to consider is write HP, Dell and others, let them know you
don't want Vista and want XP...

Me, I want XP 64 bit MCE or Pro. And getting ****ed off.

The local shop, Golden Tech, still sells them with XP. Don't know for how
long though.

You have a long way to go to get as illiterate as we are. We've worked hard
to earn our rightful place in the bozo's bin.

I am a little ****ed that I get put in the Bozo's bind and then pulled
out of the Bozo's bing just to amuse Krause. I am trying to figure out
exactly what I can do to make the Bozo's bin my permanent residence.

If it would help..I'd put in a good word for you. You are one of the more
deserving candidates for the septic tank.
Trouble is... there's no shortage of candidates even more deserving. Next
time...make your reservation early, there's only so much room until the
pumpout trucks arrive looking for cheap fertilizer.
