Thanks, I'll pull it off this weekend and check that out. Anything
else I might look for while I have it pulled off? I just replaced the
gasket, so it should be good.

Default Mercruiser Upper Outdrive Seal leaking drive oil

If it's leaking then I would not assume the gasket is good. You might also
look for signs of leaking around the input shaft. Lube in the bellows may
indicate that.
