considered thoughts to the readers of rec.boats: The wife has decided. The Triumph is out of the question now. She and I both liked the Scout better. We'll be moving to NC in about a year and a half, and this looks to be easily towable to various lakes and the ocean. Any comments? http://tinyurl.com/27277t or http://www.scoutboats.com/models/185sportfish.html The transom isn't open, but I'm hoping it will be pretty safe anyway. Good choice! It is a locally made boat, too.... so, if you need customer service you can walk in. -- Grady-White Gulfstream, out of Oak Island, NC. Couple of boats back I quit considering what they wanted and bought the features that filled my needs. I like to boat and to fish. Wife commented a couple of years ago that she was happy that the kids were older and didn't need her to look after them on the boat. Good boating to you and have a great day. Ron |

Ron Well, I still have to be nice. She's the one working now, and keeping me in the style to which I've grown accustomed. That includes golfing and boating! -- John H |

Are you free Wednesday, or has school started? I'm not sure I have your correct email addy on my laptop, which is what I am using now... Krause are you looking for somebody in the newsgroup to provide proof that you own a boat trailer? |

I'll send you my current email addys. The myworkshop one went off line for a few days when we got clobbered by a thunderstorm. All of the others should be working just fine.... -- Grady-White Gulfstream, out of Oak Island, NC.
