Eisboch That would make his current boat go too fast in the bathtub. I thought he gave his boat away. |

Now that I'm thinking about the boat again, I've got to get it registered in Virginia. I hate paperwork. -- ***** Have a super day! ***** John H |

That's where I ended up buying mine. Eisboch Bought one today, but a Nautilus. It seems the smoothest running for both of us. Another good one. Have you tried a good, moderate resistance, 30-40 minute workout yet? It took me a few days to get used to it, but now I prefer it over the treadmill. Eisboch |

![]() "Harry Krause" wrote in message . .. It won't be delivered until Wednesday. I gave it a good 3-minute workout at the store! Don't be surprised if it sets you on your ass for a while. I think I mentioned that even though I had been doing 2.5 - 4 miles a day for almost 2 months on the treadmill at an ever-increasing rate and incline, the first 10 minutes on the elliptical with the resistance set at level 7 had my legs shaking. Currently, I do a 30 minute workout on it with the resistance starting at level 7 and automatically increasing as I go, up to level 13 where it stays for about 10 minutes, then starts a slow decline back to about level 7. I do 2 miles on it, then do another mile or two on the treadmill. It's a great workout. Eisboch |

![]() "Harry Krause" wrote in message ... After three minutes, my knees were telling me they had had "enough for now." Hey, six or seven Tylenol before I start and I'm sure my knees will make it to five minutes in a few weeks! Actually, if I warm up on our treadmill first, I'm sure my knees will give me a little less trouble. It doesn't seem to bother my knees at all. Of course, I *am* much younger than you. :-) I discovered that, for me, doing the elliptical first, then the treadmill works out better. The motion transition going from treadmill to elliptical screwed me up. Eisboch |

Stair Master is a killer though. |
