Alleged birth of Christ.

'Alleged birth' of Christ as opposed to what? Miraculous incarnation?

My reply to Bassy was poorly worded. I was pointing out that in some places
he writes "birth of Christ" and in some places he writes "alleged birth".

Personally, I'm in the "birth" camp.

Sorry, I should have known that phrase wasn't your invention. I've got the
basskisser filtered, and didn't see the original post. Must have been a
goodie.

Jesus's life was recorded by Roman historians, so if he wasn't born,
than it would truly be a miracle.

That's about what I was thinking. I wonder who presided at the alleged
birth of basskisser.

A bass?

Alleged bass. Probably a catfish.

Prove the existence of Jesus Christ to me, then I'll believe it. I
suppose you think the world is only around 6000 years old, huh? Or do
you not belive in the bible?

The Romans wrote many, many historical fictional works. Please provide
proof that Jesus Christ was born. Do you also believe the bible, and
thus believe the earth is around 6000 years old?

I can prove the existence of a catfish, can you prove the existence of
Jesus Christ? If so, I'd like to see.

Do you think Jesus is a fictional character who did not live
approximately 2000 yrs ago?

ps - even the Jewish historical records record the life of Jesus, they
did not believe he was the son of God, but they do record his life and
death. Can you prove the existence of anyone who has died?

Most religions recognize that Jesus did indeed exist.........some see
him only as a prophet though and not the son of God.
