If you'll kindly point out where I "defended Chavez", I'd be happy to share my reasoning with you. My primary interest in this discussion is considering the question of whether or not buyng boat fuel at a fuel dock that sells CITGO will result in Venezuela dropping nuclear bombs on the United States. (see original post in the thread) The point I'm trying to make is that it won't make any difference to Chavez, as he can sell the same oil somewhere else. Worse yet, you can pull up to a fuel dock that says BP or ARCO and wind up filling up with CITGO product anyway. Happens all the time, as others have pointed out in this thread. If the United States hopes to be insulated for terrorists from Venezuela, there are a few steps that could be taken. But none of them have anything to do with the purchase of boat fuel and therefore aren't remotely appropriate for this group. |
