Wait until he sees what they want for a new stator to replace that rusty
old thing inside the flywheel with the rotten core that's shorting out the
magnetism. It's like replacing the V-8 in a Lexus....(d^

Been there, replaced that, 175 Merc V-6

Before he puts the new stator in it, make him coat all those exposed soft
iron cores around the flywheel with axle grease to stop the corrosion, LIKE
THE DAMNED MANUFACTURER SHOULD HAVE DONE AT THE FACTORY IN THE FIRST PLACE!

When the core rots, it expands with rust and pulls the coils apart.
Planned obsolescense?
