Hey Eisbock,

Remember the advise I gave you regarding location for that ill-fated
charter business you attempted with Aviator? Just wondering if you've
been following the adventures of 'Go Fisch' and their highly rated show?
Still think winter in the Cortez and summer in Alaskan waters would be a
highly successful charter operation with someone like him.

Eisboch doesn't live here anymore.

Actually, it had a great plot - just the wrong cast.

The book was better than the movie. ;-)

Has that truck of yours dried out yet?

Yeah, and nice and clean now. Fortunately, it was still below freezing when
I discovered it so it didn't melt. Scooped most of the snow out by hand,
then used a wet/dry vacuum to get the rest.

The window was only open about an inch and a half. I have those plastic
rain deflectors on it and normally can leave the windows cracked open a bit
and rain or snow won't get in. The problem was the wind associated with the
storm - it just blew the snow sideways, then up the window and into the
truck.
A pain, but no harm done.

Years ago, I had a VW Rabbit. Fishing from shore in Tracy, Ca, just over
the hill from me, and is very windy. I am down below the bank, so very
nice, catching a few catfish. Go to leave, and the top of the car is above
ground level and the window is down about 1/2". The field next to the levee
had been plowed not to long before. There is at least 1" of fine dirt on
everything inside the car. Brushed out the dirt as best I could before
going home. Took me a couple of days to get the inside clean again.
