Hey Eisbock,

Remember the advise I gave you regarding location for that ill-fated
charter business you attempted with Aviator? Just wondering if you've
been following the adventures of 'Go Fisch' and their highly rated show?
Still think winter in the Cortez and summer in Alaskan waters would be a
highly successful charter operation with someone like him.

"To our viewers we owe a great, "Thank You." In 2003 you made us the
most watched outdoors show in the country with over 29 million people
watching. Last year was quite a breakthrough for us and many of you have
emailed asking how Offshore Adventures got started so here you go..."

Actually, it had a great plot - just the wrong cast.

The concept was interesting, the location irrelevant, but other than one
of the earlier season chefs, the "crews" are vapid, and the shows are
"cleaned up" to be considered real fishing shows.

Would *you* have booked a week's charter if the skipper was HLAviation
and the boat a Navigator?

and no byte.

The book was better than the movie. ;-)

Has that truck of yours dried out yet?

Yeah, and nice and clean now. Fortunately, it was still below freezing when
I discovered it so it didn't melt. Scooped most of the snow out by hand,
then used a wet/dry vacuum to get the rest.

The window was only open about an inch and a half. I have those plastic
rain deflectors on it and normally can leave the windows cracked open a bit
and rain or snow won't get in. The problem was the wind associated with the
storm - it just blew the snow sideways, then up the window and into the
truck.
A pain, but no harm done.
