John, are these people you know, or did you arrange this through some
organization? If the latter, which organization. We also have room.

My wife is deeply involved with the Catholic Church. I work too much. She
managed and arranged everything. It was "her" idea and she took it upon
herself (marriage is a two way street, she gave me my permission). My role
is minor, just go to work so she can do what is morally right. We have been
married for over 35 years now. I "learned" over the years, she is always
right.

If you are not Catholic, there are several websites up now looking for
people like you.

May God Bless you for even thinking about it.

Whoops, forgot to finish the message before hitting the send button.
Perhaps I'm
dense, but I couldn't find the sites to which you refer. If you've got any, I'd
appreciate it.

Sorry it took so long for me to reply, but as you might imagine, the
preparations for the "new part of our family" has kept us quite busy. We
are fortunate enough that a young African - American couple with 2 young
girls (7 and 9) are on their way north. We have done our best to make sure
their stay with us will be an expeience that will be good as we can make
it. But we realize for them, they have to leave their home city and it will
still be tough on them. We expect them to arrive this evening.

I thought I could easily find the website I had mentioned. I had caught a
brief part of an interview on TV with an "indirect" victim of 9/11. The
building in which he lived was destroyed and his first need was a roof over
his head. They posted the website he is hosting to find temporary homes for
the victims. It was an interview on Fox a few days ago. Sorry, I looked but
couldn't find it and time is short.

Spent a couple of minutes before my wife woke up this morning browsing
other threads and caught the SWMBO. How true. It has worked for me for over
35 years.

Might not have a chance to get back for a while. Things will be pretty busy
here.

May everyone stay safe, healthy, and well.

SOB

I've found sites where info can be put on the web with the idea that a needy
person will contact the provider by email. I don't trust it.

If your wife, or her church, knows of others, please email me at
jherringatcoxdotnet.
