Basskisser,

Do you know how to read? The very first sentence in your definition is:

"Whiskey is a barrel-aged distilled spirit made from grain or malt."

Schnapps is not barrel-aged, and by your own definition is not a Whiskey.

You dumb **** it CONTAINS whiskey......
are you going to comment on the REST of the definitions?

We will ignore the fact that the vast majority of Schnapps is made from
potatoes. While you can use grain alcohol instead, it still does not
qualify as a whiskey, because it is not barrel aged.

Keep up the good work, your record is still intact, wrong again.

PS It does seem like you learn a lot from Harry, I see you even copy his
technique of using sock puppets and having conversations with yourself.

You forgot to look up the definition of schnapps.

No, I didn't. Please see below. If you have any more questions, please
feel free to ask. No question is too stupid!

From this site:

http://www.physics.uq.edu.au/people/...iskeymore.html

What is whiskey?
Whiskey is a barrel-aged distilled spirit made from grain or malt. It
differs from other types of grain alcohol in that it absorbs colour
and flavour from the barrels during aging,
it retains more flavour from the fermented mash by being distilled at
a lower proof
and being less thoroughly filtered. As a result, it is much more
flavoursome than vodka. Unlike gin and akvavit, it doesn't have other
flavourings added.

And from this website:
http://www.webtender.com/db/ingred/125

Schnapps
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

------

Generic name for a flavorful alcoholic beverage made from grain or
potato spirits, and flavored with various herbs or fruits. Schnapps
can range from sweet, like a liqueur, to dry as an infused vodka.

Denmark and Germany produce the majority of schnapps

Did you ever design a Holiday Inn in Kansas or a bridge in Washington State?

Just to show that you don't have a damned clue what you are talking
about, the Holiday Inn balcony that collapsed wasn't the fault of the
engineers of record. It was a construction change.

While the collapse at the Hyatt was caused by a design change that violated
building codes, an engineering firm *did* stamp the changed plans.

From Engineering.com:

"Due to evidence supplied at the Hearings, a number of principals involved
lost their engineering licenses, a number of firms went bankrupt, and many
expensive legal suits were settled out of court. In November, 1984, Duncan,
Gillum, and G.C.E. International, Inc. were found guilty of gross
negligence, misconduct, and unprofessional conduct in the practice of
engineering. Subsequently, Duncan and Gillum lost their licenses to practice
engineering in the State of Missouri (and later, Texas), and G.C.E. had its
certificate of authority as an engineering firm revoked."

Has BassK ever made a post here that was not incorrect?

I loved it when he published link and quotes to prove his point, and they
state the exact opposite of what he is argument.

Uh, sorry to burst your bubble, there, stupid person, BUT, Duncan and
Gillum were NOT the principal DESIGN engineers. They were acting as
owner's representitives. You see, on large scale projects, the design
engineer usually does not act as owner's rep., unless it is a
design-build project.

BassK,
When the engineers approved the changes, they approved a new design and were
acting in their capacity as an engineer.

Yes! Thank you for agreeing. When the owner's representitives approved
the changes, they certainly did take responsibility. NOT the DESIGN
engineers. Two completely different entities. One works directly for
the owner, the other is part of the design team. Unless the project is
design-build, and it was NOT.

I guess you did work on those designs, did you get your wrist slapped for
approving the revised plans?
