Pentagon Hires Comical Ali
Has BassK ever made a post here that was not incorrect?
I loved it when he published link and quotes to prove his point, and they
state the exact opposite of what he is argument.

Did you ever design a Holiday Inn in Kansas or a bridge in Washington
State?
Just to show that you don't have a damned clue what you are talking
about, the Holiday Inn balcony that collapsed wasn't the fault of the
engineers of record. It was a construction change.
While the collapse at the Hyatt was caused by a design change that
violated
building codes, an engineering firm *did* stamp the changed plans.
From Engineering.com:
"Due to evidence supplied at the Hearings, a number of principals involved
lost their engineering licenses, a number of firms went bankrupt, and many
expensive legal suits were settled out of court. In November, 1984,
Duncan,
Gillum, and G.C.E. International, Inc. were found guilty of gross
negligence, misconduct, and unprofessional conduct in the practice of
engineering. Subsequently, Duncan and Gillum lost their licenses to
practice
engineering in the State of Missouri (and later, Texas), and G.C.E. had
its
certificate of authority as an engineering firm revoked."
