Subject: does anyone talk about BOATS here, ever?
From: "Netsock" Then why does he/you ? Wade through the garbage that is? I dont. I have filters and kill files set up. I was only letting him know that I agree with him, what I do about it, and that it works very well. See, it works. Most newsgroups are just like this one. None are as polluted as this group. That's what they all say. :-) And whinning about it only adds to the OT count. I dont believe the discussion *about* the group is OT. Well, your wrong. It clearly is. So, just don't read any post labled OT. Or better yet, filter them and the main OT posters out. It's a bit of a no brainer. Again, if you would have read more closely, I already do just that. Really? That's funny, because no matter how many times I "closely" read this I still don't see the part about your using filters. "The point is...we DO like the boating information here. He just doesnt feel (and justly so) that he should have to wade through other garbage that doesnt belong here, to get to it." Guess I need new glasses. Take care, Capt. Bill |
