If I ever upgrade the engine on Yo Ho, though, it'll be to a 300 hp unit. There was a Yamaha factory rep at the fishing seminar I attended last weekend who told me such an engine probably would be available in three years. I suspect Merc will have 300 hp, too. That's about right for me, because I like to get rid of outboards as the warranty expires. I'd like to get my 30 mph cruise engine setting down to around 4000 rpm. I'll bet these new engines have two to three times as many parts as your chosen species... -- Email sent to is never read. |
