a year?




Out of that 320,000, the news release stated that around 40% are sold in the
US, so that would be around 128,000 units of all ratings from 2hp to 300hp.
The 200-225 would be a small percentage of that. A while back, industry
figures mentioned that the average hp of outboards sold in the US was around
90. The 9.9-15 size was the best selling motor for the 3 major
manufacturers. The National Marine Manufacturer's Association ( NMMA ) has
the info in its statistics.
