I've used a Bruce anchor in rock & gravel & weed & combinations. The
only thing it's not good for is soft loose mud.

11# might be a bit on the light side, especially if you're anchoring
overnight. I'd go to the 16.5# with at least 20' of chain.


If you started the chain argument again with this post, I'm going to
find you and beat you about the head and shoulders. :)
