Hey, if you can control the internet than great. Virtual is different than
face to face as you asked, much different. Anonymous also. But every other
newsgroup has political discussions going on, mostly about the war and
elections. Unless you use censorship or moderate the group, your going to
lose your battle. I think also you will lose more members and valuable input
to the group should you chose to moderate or censor it.

Not the same, incompatible.

What you're saying essentially is that the standards of decorum and common
courtesy that we all accept in our face to face interactions with others

are
not applicable in rec.boats. Why is that? Because you can get away with

it?

Nothing like fresh meat in the newsgroup. Stick around sonny.

Charlie,

If you'd have been paying attention, you'd have benefited from MDD's
damn clever posts over the last several months...

I think you're a little too busy sniffin' people's cracks.

I've been reading this newsgroup for some months, and I've posted a
few times. Once in a while I read a post of yours and it is almost
always the same, in that you are trying to insult Harry Krause. In
that regard, you are no different than Karen Smith. I have noticed
like most posters here he hardly pays any attention to you.

Yet another insult post from you. Can you post a reply without insulting
the person you are responding to?
