As I tried to explain, the throttle arm is tied directly to the timing and
carbs. You need to 1st disconnect the cable from the arm - then adjust the arm. Then adjust the cable so that there is just slight tension of the arm against the stop when in neutral. -W wrote in message oups.com... Ok, to the people that are not really posting to this topic... Please take your discussion somewhere else. I came here to talk about boats... I think I have figured out that on this model you have to adjust the idle buy the timing pickup. So this is the question... Do you think I could do this on my own (I have some auto engine exp) or should I take it somewhere to have it done? And if I do decide to do it on my own, does anyone have any suggestions on how to set it? Thanks, |
