Default Captain Tom Francis RIP

That's really sad news. Hadn't heard from him for years and didn't know
he was ill.

Tom was a great guy. I met him a couple of times when he visited us
several years ago, at our house and at the
guitar shop.

Lol! I remember the trick you two pulled on me when you were setting up the guitar shop. But I also remember the truck we pulled back in him too! Lol!

Yes, great guy for sure. We met up with him and his wife for dinner
in Rhode Island on our first trip north with the Grand Banks. Tom's
wife was very taken with the boat. He was a long time amateur radio
operator (HAM, W1TEF), and could copy morse code in his head at
amazing speeds.

Sad to hear. He didn't live far from me, and we met and talked a couple of times, but we just lost track after that. Good guy.
