Ft Myers.

1.82per gal in Effingham IL today. And that's whith gobs of taxes applied per gal. too

And not only that, but Effingham has an ugly steel cross that its
sponsors believe is one of the "largest" in the United States, 198 feet
tall, making the town a "must see" for, well, I suppose, cross lovers
looking for cheap gasoline.

Anyone ever tell you you're weird?

Weird is setting up a 198-foot tall steel cross in a secular little U.S.
town.

Say what?
Our gas is 96 cents a liter right now. How could we be paying a buck a liter taxes?
Income tax of 50 per cent? You'd have to make a pretty good income to
pay that much. I've paid income tax all my life and never paid that.

Last trip to BC. Was $1.19 a liter. Add up your taxes, and see what the
percentage is. Sorry, meant a buck a gallon. 3.7 liters per gallon. So
close to $3.60 a gallon. Probably $2.40 a gallon for US average. Your
income is on the low end., so expect low tax rates on your income

Low end? What would you consider "low end" Swill?

Janitors make good money working for the Crown Corp.?

It's not so much the money. It's all the free booze.

That's really funny coming from a former navy guy, a branch of the
service known for its heavy drinkers, and whose last significant
accomplishment ended with the surrender of the Japanese.

Talk about heavy drinkers. Didn't your wife write a paper on heavy
drinkers and dope users. She didn't have go go far to find subjects eh?

Her interest in substance abusers started many years ago when she began
treating naval personnel from a base in the jacksonville area who were
court-ordered into treatment because of spousal abusal.

Neither my wife nor I "drink," in that I might have as many as two beers
a summer and a margarita, and she might have a glass of wine with dinner
a couple of times a year. That's assuredly less than you and Mrs.
OldFart drink every night, right?

Yawn. This is 2016 and, as usual, I give no credence to your view of the
world as it is or, in fact, how it got here.
.....

Oh I really thing you should Harry. This is a reason Trump is headed for the White House.

You really should stop commenting on the language skills of others, Mr.
Silicon Valley engineer.

Maybe you should have gotten something other than an English degree. Might
not have had to declare bankruptcy twice. When is the the third
declaration?
